Shirley Walker-King is a Business and Relationship Consultant, Talk Show Host, Speaker and Community Mom who possesses a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise in human resource management, building better relationships, and empowering women to live their best life!  Shirley is the CEO of SWK Management and Consulting Service, has a Bachelors degree in Human Relations & Business, is a certified Mediator, Family Wellness Instructor, Franklin Covey Facilitator and the Cofounder of Community Mom Community Dad Inc.

 

Shirley is not your average speaker, mentor or talk show host. She is direct and to the point.  She doesn’t sugar coat her message, she tells you like it is and how it needs to be said. She is a connector who provides her audience with resources and results to help move them forward on their path to success.  Shirley has addressed audiences of all ages and backgrounds covering topics from Entrepreneurship, Human Resources, Self Empowerment, Building Better Relationships and Family Wellness. Shirley has been married to Vincent King for 25 years and enjoys conducting relationship workshops with him.  Shirley also works alongside her daughter, Valencia King at KKVI Radio as a Talk Show Host and Program Director.  Together they conduct a workshop called M.A.D.E. Mother and Daughter Enrichment.  

 

Shirley is an advocate for building better family relationships. She volunteers her time with the YMCA Annual Scholarship Review Committee, DISD Community In Schools, Texas Charter Schools and has served as a member of several boards of directors.  Shirley has been seen on The Dr. Phil Show, featured on WFAA news, Resurrection Impact Ministries TV Show, Dream Big Dallas and numerous radio shows discussing family, business and personal growth.
